Arrow and Heart of Australia bring life-saving medical services to the bush

The services, provided through purpose-built mobile clinics known as Heart Trucks, include vital healthcare such as heart monitoring, respiratory therapy and sleep studies.

Heart of Australia, which has treated more than 16,000 patients across 43 communities and saved 600 lives since its establishment in 2014, will conduct the visits next month.

Dr. Rolf Gomes, Founder and Director of Heart of Australia, credited partners like Arrow Energy for enabling direct delivery of specialists and diagnostic equipment to patients.

“As our Foundation Partner, Arrow Energy has played a pivotal role from the clinic’s inception in helping Heart of Australia to expand and reach more rural and remote communities,” Dr Gomes said.

“With their support, thousands of rural Australians have gained access to the care they need.

“I encourage anyone in Dalby, Miles or Moranbah to talk to their general practitioner to determine if a visit to the Heart Clinic would be beneficial for their healthcare needs.”
