Arrow has been undertaking baseline bore assessments in the Cecil Plains area since June 2023. The program will be completed over the coming month (weather permitting) [see fact sheet]
We undertake baseline assessments on water bores across our tenure areas, to obtain information before we start gas production in the area. It helps us understand the level and quality of water in a bore, how the bore is constructed, and the type of infrastructure used to pump water.
Ecology surveys east of the Condamine River [see fact sheet]
Arrow is undertaking ecology surveys east of the Condamine River.
These surveys are required under environmental conditions set by State and Federal Government for Arrow’s Surat Gas Project
Terrestrial Groundwater Ecosystem survey – Guluguba to Ranges Bridge
Arrow is undertaking survey of Terrestrial Groundwater Ecosystems (TGDEs) across 8 locations within our Surat Basin tenure area.
The survey involves accessing properties to undertake assessments. Landholders involved will be directly engaged by Arrow prior to the work.
The work will support the Office of Groundwater and Impact Assessment’s Terrestrial GDE field verification program.
Aerial surveys between Chinchilla and Cecil Plains [see fact sheet]
Arrow Energy is planning to undertake aerial surveys between Chinchilla and Cecil Plains in December (subject to weather).
We are planning more aerial surveys in the coming years. These surveys use light detection and ranging technology (LiDAR) to create a three-dimensional map of the surface, showing the shape and characteristics of the land.
Transport of pipe to Broadwater laydown
Over the coming months, Arrow will be transporting pipes to the Broadwater laydown yard, on Arrow’s property, at the northern end of Broadwater Road. Truck movements will commence at the end of November, travelling via Moonie Highway and Broadwater Road.
Our planned activities are subject to weather, equipment and operational requirements. Information is regularly updated. For more details, please contact us.
