Pipeline survey – Surat Gas Project
Arrow will be surveying its pipeline network during April and May 2024.
The survey, which follows pipeline routes, will be conducted across all of Arrow’s operating fields and in pilot locations from Wandoan to south of Cecil Plains.
During this time, you may notice Arrow contractor (Verbrec) undertaking the survey on public and private land, travelling in all-terrain vehicles or on foot.
The survey is being undertaken in compliance with Arrow’s regulatory obligations.
Ecology surveys east of the Condamine River [see fact sheet]
Arrow is undertaking ecology surveys east of the Condamine River.
These surveys are required under environmental conditions set by State and Federal Government for Arrow’s Surat Gas Project
Terrestrial Groundwater Ecosystem survey – Guluguba to Ranges Bridge
Arrow is undertaking survey of Terrestrial Groundwater Ecosystems (TGDEs) across 8 locations within our Surat Basin tenure area.
The survey involves accessing properties to undertake assessments. Landholders involved will be directly engaged by Arrow prior to the work.
The work will support the Office of Groundwater and Impact Assessment’s Terrestrial GDE field verification program.
Aerial surveys between Chinchilla and Cecil Plains [see fact sheet]
Arrow is currently undertaking aerial surveys between Chinchilla and Cecil Plains.
We have plans for further aerial surveys in 2024. These surveys use light detection and ranging technology (LiDAR) to create a three-dimensional map of the surface, showing the shape and characteristics of the land.
Aerial surveys north of Moranbah
Arrow is currently undertaking aerial surveys in areas approximately 40-80 kilometres north of Moranbah. Magnetic survey drones and light detection and ranging technology (LiDAR) is used to create a three-dimensional map of the surface, showing the shape and characteristics of the land.
