The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is Queensland's premier agricultural event, attracting 400,000 people. Run by The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland for 10 days every August and staged at its original birthplace, the Brisbane Showgrounds, the Ekka brings the country and city together for a true celebration of agriculture. Visitors are rewarded with thousands of exhibits, world-class entertainment and award-winning food and wine. In 2019, Arrow’s partnership with Ekka brings the excitement of getting up, close and personal with animals at the Arrow Energy Large Animal Pavilion.

Arrow has supported the Ekka since 2012.

Big Skies Festival

Established in 2018 by Western Downs Regional Council, Big Skies is a five-day calendar of events celebrating the sights, sounds, tastes and unique experiences of the Western Downs in autumn. The signature event, Big Skies Concert, is a multi-artist rock concert on the grounds of stately Jimbour House.

4U2 Concert

Moranbah’s 4U2 Concert was initiated by The Hornery Group in 2013 to fund-raise for two medical services. This event brings together the Bowen Basin community for a fun vibrant family day, with proceeds donated towards RBWH Foundation and RACQ CQ Rescue Helicopter.

Arrow has proudly partnered with 4U2 since 2013.

Dalby Delicious and DeLIGHTful Festival

Dalby’s Delicious and DeLIGHTful Festival was established in 2010 to celebrate the diverse cultures brought to the region by the resources boom. The festival is the Western Down’s largest multicultural annual event. Visitors to the festival are delighted by arts and cultural displays, food stalls and markets, live entertainment, competitions, lantern making workshops and an evening lantern parade through town that culminates in a fireworks finale.

Arrow has partnered with the festival since 2015.

Chinchilla Melonfest

The biennial Chinchilla Melon Festival promotes Chinchilla and its district, attracting more than 12,000 visitors. In 2019 Chinchilla celebrated 25 years since the first Melon Festival and commemorated the achievement with the unveiling of the region’s Big Melon. Locals and visitors take part in some hilarious melon-based fun and festivities such as melon skiing, melon iron man, melon bungee, melon bullseye, pip spitting and melon tossing. The family entertainment includes markets, a street parade, arts and crafts, and free concerts.

Arrow has proudly supported the festival since 2014.
