To support future phases of the Surat Gas Project, we have lodged an Environmental Authority (EA) amendment application to support planned activity in the Hopeland area, south of Chinchilla.
Arrow has an existing EA, approved in 2025, which authorises 61 CSG wells, pipelines and supporting infrastructure; as well as an extensive water monitoring program, and gas production infrastructure.
The update will seek authorisation for an additional 55 wells.
How can you have your say?
A public notification process will occur in the coming weeks. Once the public notification period commences, the community can have their say by making a submission about the application documents. Further information on how to make a submission will be provided when the notification period commences.
