Land management
Before we step onto a property, we ensure our vehicles are free of any dirt or weeds that could pose a potential biohazard and that we have the required access permissions.
We work with landholders to understand their property, and create a fit-for-purpose plan which sets out how we will operate on their land. To minimise our footprint, we use deviated (angled) drilling, and use of existing infrastructure where possible.
Continual improvement is central to our approach with a recent review of our well pad design, which incorporated landholder feedback, leading to a 30% reduction in our well pad footprint on intensively farmed land.
Our rigorous monitoring program includes Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data surveys, groundwater monitoring, and groundwater bore and baseline assessments.

Subsidence management
Ground movement can occur from a range of ground activities, including farming and naturally occurring movements.
We recognise that some landholders have concerns about CSG-induced subsidence, and we take these seriously. We monitor closely for any changes as a result of our operations.
If our operations have any adverse impact, we are required to compensate landholders under Queensland law.
