Local content
Arrow supports local industry participation, as far as is reasonable, lawful and economically practical.
Arrow's local content commitments
We are dedicated to ensuring full, fair and reasonable opportunity for local industry by:
- identifying, promoting and supporting opportunities for the participation of regional workers and businesses
- identifying, promoting and supporting opportunities for the participation of Indigenous workers and businesses
- considering local capabilities during development of procurement strategies and contract work scopes to enhance local content
- ensuring design specifications are to Australian standards or an equivalent international standard.
Local content templates
The following templates will help suppliers and contractors to submit a compliant local content plan.
Corporate governance framework
Our corporate governance framework is mandatory.
Our contractors and suppliers must comply with our corporate governance policies, collectively called Arrow Energy's Company General Business Principles.
Copies of these principles and policies can be found below.
Please review our code of conduct carefully and contact us if you require further details.
Life-Saving Rules provide workers in the industry with the actions they can take to protect themselves and their colleagues from fatalities.
The Life Saving Rules apply to all staff and contractors engaged to undertaken activities on behalf of Arrow.
Arrow’s Land Access Rules must be adhered to by all Arrow employees and contractors.
In the event of a potential land access rule breach Arrow has a comprehensive framework for investigation and consequence management in the event of a confirmed breach.
Our Code of Conduct (Code) defines the standard of behaviour Arrow Energy (Arrow) expects in conducting our business activities. Our Code is founded on our values: respect, lead, integrate, solve and own. It provides the cultural basis of how Arrow operates.
Arrow Energy is committed to a culture of compliance, ethical behaviour, good corporate governance and continuous improvement. Arrow Energy encourages the reporting of any instances of suspected or actual misconduct involving Arrow Energy’s business, and will ensure that those persons who make a disclosure can do so without the fear of disadvantage, adverse action or victimisation.
Industry regulations
There are a number of industry regulations suppliers must follow.
Contractors working on Arrow sites may be expected to report to the Commonwealth under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (NGER Act). The guide below outlines Arrow’s position.
