Supporting communities in which we work
Arrow Energy has been part of the Surat Basin for more than twenty years. We live and work here, so we’re passionate about supporting the people and places that make our communities strong.
Our Brighter Futures Community Investment Program is one way we give back. Through sponsorships, grants and partnerships, the program supports local activities and initiatives that help build healthy, sustainable and connected communities.
What we support
Our community investment program focuses on three key areas that reflect what communities have told us is important.
Community wellbeing
- Events and activities that bring people together and strengthen community connections
- Increasing access to educational and learning.
Healthy lifestyles
- Supporting healthier and safer communities, including welfare and wellbeing services
- Boosting participation in community sporting and recreational activities with positive community benefits.
Caring for our environment
- Protecting our natural environment to help create a more sustainable future.
Arrow welcomes and encourages initiatives led by First Nations Traditional Owner groups, particularly within our project areas, recognising their deep connection to Country and their role in caring for communities now and into the future.

Grants
Our Brighter Futures Grants Program helps not‑for‑profit groups access funding for projects and programs that make a positive difference in the community.
Grants of up to $5,000 are available and applications are accepted during an annual funding round.
Our 2026 grants program has closed, and funding grants have been awarded.
The next funding round will open in early 2027.

Sponsorships
Our Brighter Futures Sponsorship Program supports local groups running community events and activities in the areas where we live and work.
You can apply at any time during the year, and each application is considered on its merits.
While we’d love to support everyone, sponsorship funding is set annually. Once the budget is fully allocated, the program will close until the next calendar year.

Partnerships
Strong, long‑term relationships are at the heart of our Brighter Futures Partnerships Program.
By working closely with local communities, we identify opportunities to support projects that help bring people together and create lasting benefits.
Each year, we partner with organisations across our project areas to invest in initiatives that strengthen communities now and into the future.
Our partnerships
Miles & District Amateur Race Club
Arrow Energy provided $85,000 in funding in 2026 to help build a new all‑weather events pavilion at the Miles & District Amateur Race Club.
The partnership will enable the club to upgrade its viewing area, creating a fit-for-purpose space for race days and community events.
First Nations Heritage exhibition, Miles
Arrow Energy contributed $47,000 towards the creation of a First Nations Heritage exhibition at the Miles Historical Village Museum.
The exhibition, which opened in 2025, features Indigenous artefacts and the history of First Nations peoples in the Miles region.
