Site inductions and training

Arrow has a range of training requirements that must be completed before visiting or working on an Arrow site, some of which are available online.

From the 1st September 2025 Contractors and visitors will no longer need to complete the Field Access Request Form.

Arrow Energy uses Pegasus Workforce Management (Pegasus) to manage contractor onboarding and online learning.

Mode 1 Workers and Visitors

Mode 1 applies where work is performed under Arrow’s direct supervision on Arrow-controlled sites, in line with Arrow’s HSE Management System (HSE‑MS).

Arrow retains overall responsibility for HSE management in this mode

Mode 1 contractors must:

  • Be registered in Pegasus.
  • Ensure all workers and visitors have active Pegasus profiles before site arrival.
  • Be assigned appropriate roles, complete required online training, and upload relevant certifications necessary to complete the planned work.

Pegasus is used for online induction and training delivery, and competency verification and role tracking.

If unsure of your registration status, please contact your company administrator, Arrow Energy contract owner, or visit the Arrow Pegasus Landing Page.

Mode 2 Workers and Visitors

Mode 2 applies where work is conducted on contractor-controlled sites or where the contractor is operating under their own HSE‑MS.

Key requirements:

  • The contractor’s HSE‑MS must be assessed and bridged to Arrow’s at key operational interfaces.
  • Mode 2 contractors are responsible for their own supervision, assurance, and competency systems.
  • Pegasus is still required to access Arrow inductions and record training status.

Pegasus is used to complete new or refresher inductions and maintain training records relevant to Arrow interfaces.

Arrow has transitioned existing Mode 2 contractors into Pegasus and Avetta.

All new Mode 2 contractors must be registered in Pegasus and create Pegasus profiles for their teams to complete the relevant inductions.

Important: Mode 2 contractors working under Arrow supervision will need to complete the Mode 1 process for verification of training and competency.
