Arrow’s Dalby Expansion Project (DXP) Environmental Authority (EA) (EPPG00972513) authorises natural gas development activities west of Dalby. It has been in place since December 2010 and has been amended over time as the project has evolved.
Earlier this year, we made some updates, which we submitted to the Queensland Government for consideration. We are following the EA process, with public consultation now open.
What is new?
Authorisation is already in place for the activities described in the EA, under our Environmental Impact Statement, which was approved by the Federal and State governments in 2013.
The activities are not new additions to the SGP, and extensive public consultation has been carried out since 2009.
We have amended our EA to:
- provide details about the Lynwood compression facility detailed in Arrow’s Environmental Impact Statement
- seek approval to construct wells and gathering infrastructure, approved through the earlier EA, in a small number of environmental areas, where alternate locations are not available.
