Applications for the program opened earlier this month and close 15 May 2023.
Arrow Energy CEO Godson Njoku said Arrow’s flagship community investment program was introduced in 2017 to help support grass-roots organisations in the areas where Arrow operates.
“There are many wonderful organisations across the Western Downs and Moranbah doing amazing work to support their local communities,” Godson said. “Many rely on volunteers and operate on very tight budgets, and they deserve a helping hand.
“Over the years, Brighter Futures has come to play a significant role bringing communities together, building skills and capacity and supporting local businesses.
“Since we started the program in 2017, we have distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in community grants and small-scale investments. It’s a fantastic way for Arrow to support the communities which support us.”
Arrow’s Brighter Futures program is open to all not-for-profit community organisations delivering services in the Western Downs, Toowoomba or Isaac Regional Council (Moranbah) local government areas. Schools and kindergartens, aged care facilities, sporting clubs, community associations and charities are among those eligible to apply.
Applications must relate to at least one of three focus areas: health and safety, education or environment.
