The grants – up to $5000 each – will support initiatives that improve health, education, environmental and social outcomes within Arrow’s Surat Gas Project footprint.
Arrow Energy Principal Community Officer Rita Hassan congratulated this year’s recipients.
“Since 2007, the Brighter Futures program has invested millions into local projects that make a real difference in communities where we work,” Rita said.
“This year’s recipients span everything from volunteer training and sporting equipment to a six‑week parental program that builds stronger, more resilient families.
“We’re proud to champion such a diverse range of initiatives and look forward to seeing the positive impact they’ll deliver.”
Chinchilla Pony Club’s Robyn Haig said the group would use its grant to upskill its instructors.
“We’re really thankful to Arrow Energy for helping us build our capacity and support our volunteers,” Robyn said.
“This funding gives us the opportunity to expand what we normally offer, keep our kids engaged for longer and help them develop even further.”
Lions Club of Dalby’s Michelle Chant said the organisation would use its grant to support the fundraising efforts of its youngest members.
“The funding from Arrow’s Brighter Futures grant has enabled us to purchase a slushie machine for our Leos Club,” Michelle said.
“Now we can go into the community and fundraise as a way to give back.”
Farm Angels’ Jenny Gailey said the grant would provide training for its Angels on the Phone and Angels on the Road services.
“The support provided by the Arrow grant is essential for not‑for‑profit charities such as ours,” Jenny said.
“It means we’re able to direct more of every donated dollar to our farmers, rather than spending it on training – so this help is incredible.”
