Local residents have the opportunity to learn more about Arrow Energy’s upcoming activities including groundwater monitoring and ecology surveys at community information sessions next week.
The sessions, to be held in Wandoan, Miles, Chinchilla, Dalby and Cecil Plains, will provide the latest details on Arrow’s activities including domestic gas operations, interconnectivity research, project planning, groundwater trials and results of recent seismic work.
“In the past few years Arrow has focused on expanding our domestic gas infrastructure in the Surat Basin, including one of the largest gas projects completed in the Surat Basin,” Arrow Energy Vice President External Relations and Tenure Management Leisa Elder said.
“As part of this work, we are committed to ongoing research and developments to prove the science behind coal seam gas operations and minimise our impacts.
“Our information sessions will provide the opportunity to showcase some of these studies and projects, and our technical experts will respond to questions on a range of topics.
“We’ll be bringing a cross-section of subject matter experts, so it’s a good opportunity for community questions to ask any questions and have a discussion with our team,” Ms Elder said.
