Arrow has donated to the Drought Angels charity, which will distribute the cards for families in need.
Leisa Elder, Arrow’s Vice President of External Relations and Tenure Management, said Drought Angels’ existing systems would get the assistance to where it was most needed.
“With our own people living and working in the Bowen and Surat basins, Arrow has first-hand reports on how hard the drought is hitting regional Queensland,” Ms Elder said.
“Our staff have neighbours, friends and family members who are struggling to keep their farms going.
“In such circumstances, it is the right thing to chip in and help as we can.
“The Surat and Bowen basin communities have been good to our company, and I am very pleased that we are able to give back, to keep these communities going.”
Drought Angels will distribute the cards as part of the individualised support they offer to families in need.
The cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, including online to pay accounts, and may be used for utility bills, stock feed, fuel and/or groceries.
