Arrow in the Surat Basin

Arrow has been operating in the Surat Basin for more than 15 years with four gas production fields – Kogan North, Tipton West, Daandine and Stratheden.

Since early 2016, Arrow has completed or commenced  expansion works at existing facilities in the Surat. This has included a major expansion of its Daandine central gas processing facility and compression facilities at Daandine and Tipton gas fields. In the Surat, Arrow supplies gas to Braemar, Braemar 2 (wholly-owned by Arrow) and Daandine Power stations.

Arrow’s Braemar 2 power station currently generates three to four per cent of Queensland’s electricity – enough to power more than 200,000 homes each year.

Arrow also has reserves in the Clarence-Moreton Basin (Scenic Rim). Arrow does not have any immediate plans to develop its Clarence-Moreton reserves.
