Education and Training
At Arrow, we are committed to building and maintaining productive relationships with our stakeholders by balancing social, environmental and economic considerations in all our activities. We do this to ensure significant and sustainable outcomes.
A key component of this approach includes offering rich educational and development opportunities to encourage capacity building and empower communities to create better futures. Arrow works with Governments, local authorities, community representatives and non-government organisations to develop and support projects that benefit the communities we operate in.
Arrow provides positive pathways from high school to the production fields, LNG Plant and beyond.
School Based Training
Arrow recognises the importance of school students and the role they will play as the next generation of Australian workers. We have developed and implemented programs for year 11 and 12 students wanting to kick start their careers by gaining vocational qualifications before they finish school.
Scholarships
Arrow understands the dedication and effort required to complete university study and offers four-year scholarships to financially assist first-year university students who want to pursue a career in the coal seam gas industry. Students from Dalby, Moranbah and Gladstone are given priority for these scholarships.
Vacation Employment
Arrow understands that practical application is as important as theoretical knowledge and offers opportunities for undergraduate students about to enter their final year of study to gain real world paid work experience over the summer holiday break.
Graduate Development Program
Arrow recognises the importance graduates play in shaping the future direction of our organisation. We encourage our graduates to reach their full potential through structured development planning and real world experience.
Indigenous Traineeships
Arrow respects and promotes the rights of Indigenous people and provides dedicated traineeships for Indigenous students in Dalby and Moranbah, looking to start their career in the CSG industry.
Vocational/Trade Training
Arrow empowers employees at all levels of the organisation. Staff with vocational and trade-related roles are encouraged and supported to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
Environmental, Health and Safety Training
Arrow operates a robust occupational health and safety system and strives for zero harm to the community, employees and contractors. Arrow provides ongoing training to equip staff, contractors and the community with the skills to identify and make improvements with regards to health, safety and the environment.
