Community Consultation

A transparent and timely community consultation plan is being implemented to enagage with, and maintain a constructive relationship with all stakeholders.

The consultation program will be maintained for the duration of the planning, construction and commissioning phases of the pipeline. SGP will maintain an active stakeholder liaison program during the operational phase.

Initial community and stakeholder consultation has been completed, with the focus on affected landholders, government agencies and local governments along the pipeline route.

During the initial route selection SGP has visited the majority of the landholders directly affected by the proposed pipeline route, and made a number of route alignment changes as a result of these consultations.

Continuing consultation is being undertaken as the project progresses.
