Gang Xia graduated from Xi’an Petroleum University of China in 1997 and has since worked for numerous organisations in the oil and gas industry throughout China and India. He has over 13 years experience in construction and project management for pipelines and related facilities, including seven years experience working on gas pipeline projects.

As the youngest spread manager for the West-East Gas Pipeline Project, Gang was awarded the ‘Excellent Young Expert’ award by China’s Ministry of Labour and Social Security in 2004. He was then selected to participate in the Specialisation Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development program run by the University of Calgary, Canada, and the China Petroleum University where he was awarded an MBA degree.

In his most recent role Gang was the Manager of the Project Management Department for the China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau International. Gang joined Arrow in early 2011.
