Mike Ward

Mike Ward graduated with an Honours degree in Physics from the University of Exeter in the UK. He has been in the oil and gas industry for 20 years, predominantly in the drilling business. He also spent six years as a contracts and procurement professional, during which time he focussed on drilling rig procurement strategies and performance improvement. He has worked in Gabon, Vietnam, Brunei, Aberdeen and Holland and his drilling experience spans highly depleted land drilling in marginal fields to High Pressure High Temperature development projects in the North Sea.
Mike's most recent role was Well Delivery Leader for Shell's UK and Ireland activity.
