Our Company
Arrow is a leading cleaner energy company with five coal seam gas producing projects, ownership of one, and interests in two other gas-fired power stations and plans to deliver liquefied natural gas to the international market through a world class plant in Gladstone.
From a privately owned exploration business, Arrow Energy has grown into one of the largest integrated energy companies in Australia.
We currently have almost 500 producing coal seam gas wells across Queensland, which account for about one fifth of the state's gas consumption.
In an effort to meet increasing demand, both locally and overseas, we are now expanding our existing projects while exploring a number of other highly prospective blocks. Once drilling sites have been established, gas will be transported through the planned Surat Gladstone and Central Queensland Gas Pipelines to a Liquefied Natural Gas Plant in Gladstone, which will have an expected capacity of eight million tonnes a year. There, the CSG will be cooled to -162 degrees and converted to a liquid for international shipping.
Arrow plans to capitalise on the experience of its parent companies - Royal Dutch Shell plc and PetroChina - as well as existing expertise, to ensure the LNG Project is a success.
