Vice President, Commercial (Asia)

Peter Godfrey is based in Singapore and responsible for developing Arrow’s international CBM business. Currently Arrow’s international development strategy is highly focused on the Asian region with China, Indonesia, Vietnam and India as key potential project development areas.

Peter joined Arrow in early 2007. Prior to joining Arrow, he developed an international reputation as a leading independent energy strategy and business development consultant with an executive-level international client-base that included the world’s leading national and international energy and mineral resource companies as well as a number of governments and regulatory agencies. Key achievements during this time include: Working as a senior adviser to the UK Government on energy policy development including the development of the UK’s first alternative energy strategy, consultant to the executive management of Petrobras and Petronas on corporatisation strategy and organisational development, assistance with energy regulatory reform in Indonesia, Brazil, Russia and Malaysia and direct responsibility for the successful completion of US$1.6billion worth of energy deals for clients in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the USA.

Prior to setting up his own consulting practice, Peter was a senior manager in Arthur D Little’s global energy practice based in London. Before becoming a consultant, Peter gained wide experience during a 20+ year career with BP. He worked in a number of supervisory and management roles in the UK, the Middle East and SE Asia, predominantly in upstream asset management, business development, M&A, major projects’ management and logistics ending up as country head for BP in Indonesia.
