Cultural Heritage.
The preservation of significant cultural remains throughout the regions in which Arrow operates is considered an imperative by the company. Our cultural heritage management plan is designed to assist our people in managing the impact of our operations on indigenous cultural heritage.
In Australia, the company strictly adheres to a comprehensive Cultural Heritage Manual to meet its statutory duty of care for indigenous cultural heritage on land and water affected by our ongoing operations. This manual ensures we meet the requirements of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003, the Torres Strait Islander Cultural Heritage Act 2003, and the Commonwealth Native Title Act 1993.
Further to the manual, Arrow also offers training courses for community induction in indigenous cultural awareness to staff, project contractors and service providers.
