John is a business and strategic adviser to numerous companies and professional organisations in Queensland and across Australia. He has over 30 years business and corporate experience in Australia and internationally. John has previously held the position of Chief Executive of West Australian Newspapers, APN News and Media and David Syme. He has also held senior executive positions with Normandy Mining Limited and Santos Limited.

John will retire as Chairman effective 30 September 2010. Nick Davies, the current Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, will succeed John as Chairman.
