Corporate Soccer 7s Carnival.

Arrow Energy's Corporate Soccer 7s Carnival raises monies to support the Mater Medical Research Institute's development of a therapeutic vaccine to treat prostate cancer.
The 16-team carnival is hosted at Ballymore each year, close to Brisbane's CBD. You don't need to be the next Maradona to participate, the Carnival is open to both men and women of all abilities and having fun is the only requirement. Each team consists of seven players and three interchange players. The winning team of each pool progresses through to the Finals for the right to claim the Championship trophy and bragging rights.
Corporate jerseys are provided as part of each team's $4400 (inc GST) entry fee and you can play in sandshoes. The event kicks off with a picnic lunch and is closed with a three-course after-match function where an honorary Queensland side will be named.
Prostate cancer affects one in nine men in their lifetime and claims 3000 Australian men annually. Former Arrow CEO and soccer fanatic Andrew Purcell was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008. He is fighting to get back to his best. We're doing everything we can to fight for him.
If you would like to enter a team in the carnival and kick in to find a cure for prostate cancer, please contact Fiona Clare at fclare@arrowenergy.com.au
