Community Committees

We are committed to addressing the concerns and answering the questions of community members in the areas in which we operate.

In 2010 Arrow established two community committees in the Surat Basin as part of our broader engagement strategy to address local issues.

The Surat Community Reference Group provides a strong consultative forum for community and industry groups. It was established as committee members previously felt their critical (and quite unique) issues were not being addressed in the broader consultation program. The Committee meets alternate months under the auspices of an Arrow Chairman.

The Arrow Intensively Farmed Land Committee was formed to identify issues of importance for black soil and other intensive farmers in a timely manner, provide feedback, and give informed consideration to procedural and systemic improvements, opportunities and initiatives. The Committee meets alternate months and considers opportunities to co-create a plan for co-existence between coal seam gas and farming.
