Vacation Employment

You don't have to wait until you leave university to receive hands-on coal seam gas experience. Arrow offers a range of vacation employment.

Twelve weeks’ paid vacation employment is available to students about to enter their final year of university. There is a particular focus on geology, petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and commercial/business students.

Located in Brisbane, Dalby or Moranbah, all students will have the opportunity to spend some time working in the field during their employment. This provides hands-on industry experience, while also improving students’ technical skills and enhancing their personal development.

As well as giving students the chance to determine their level of interest in the coal seam gas industry, the program gives Arrow the opportunity to assess students for possible graduate positions the following year. At the end of the program, students will receive structured performance feedback from their technical supervisors.
